I think it enhances it - certainly it has opened me up to a wider variety of blog posts that I possibly would not have either been aware of or have considered reading.

Hi Sally,

I think you summed it up perfectly - love the Marmite analogy. Interesting idea to have Twitter broadcast blog headlines, but would you say it exceeds Google alerts in depth or convenience?

Hi Sally

I've only recently started using Twitter, but I do agree with what you say. Although it's always good to have something that helps you to promote your business, just that alone isn't half as interesting as the avenues down which Twitter can lead. I love the fact that the messages are just short little tweets but it feels more personal and there are some fun, quirky people out there.

Hi Annette,

It's great to hear you have got so much out of Twitter. Perhaps I'll see you there? @sallyormond

I agree with your sentiments exactly.

For me, Twitter has been a great source of information. I have discovered countless great websites, blogs and applications through Twitter. This, in turn, has lead me to many great products and services that I would never have come across myself.

Twitter has been a great platform for me to market my own blogs, websites and affiliate links. I feel I can engage better with my readers and customers now.

Finally, and perhaps most important of all, Twitter has enhanced my personal life. I have connected with a great many interesting, entertaining and simply wonderful people. I now have a number of Followers, whom I consider to be good friends. Indeed, I have actually met a few of them.
