Hi Nabeel,

Getting a high Google ranking is going to come from great content, optimal use of keywords and backlinks. But you also have to take into consideration the competition for the keyword. If you create a strong SEO strategy with your squeeze page and have great content you stand a good chance of achieving a high ranking. So the main thing is to incorporate content within the site. Of course, no one can guarantee anything when it comes to rankings - competition is hot. The less competitive the keyword/phrase you are targeting, the more chance you will have of ranking highly for it.

Just make sure you follow Google's Webmaster Guidelines when designing your squeeze page so it doesn't fall foul of Google's rules.

So in answer to your question I believe squeeze pages can get good results but they must contain great SEO content.

Best wishes.

Hi Sally,

This post was very informative regarding on-page/off-page seo/optimisation!

I had a question:

Can squeeze pages (a one page website, with the only purpose of having people sign up) rank in the first page of google?

Because I read that google doesn’t like squeeze pages as they have very little content, so squeeze pages cannot appear in google results…

How true is that? Would you be so kind to elaborate on this?

Thanks,
Nabeel
